The complete set of smelting furnace electric furnace equipment includes intermediate frequency power supply cabinet, compensation capacitor, furnace body (two), water-cooled cable, and reducer. The furnace body is composed of four parts: the furnace shell, induction coil, furnace lining, and tilting furnace reduction box. The furnace shell is made of non-magnetic materials. The induction coil is a spiral cylinder made of a rectangular hollow tube. Cooling water is passed through the tube during smelting. The copper bar from the coil is connected with the water-cooled cable. The furnace lining is close to the induction coil, which is compacted and sintered by quartz sand. The tilting of the furnace body is directly rotated by the tilting furnace reduction box. The furnace tilting gearbox is a two-stage turbine variable speed, which has good self-locking performance and stable and reliable rotation. When an emergency power failure occurs, the furnace will be turned down to avoid danger. The control of the tilting gearbox motors of the two furnace bodies can be selected through the furnace selection switch. The switch box with four-core rubber wire enables the operator to stand in a suitable position to control the tilting and resetting of the furnace body. At present, the above-mentioned mechanism is not used in general melting furnaces of more than 3 tons. The tilting furnace is mainly based on hydraulic cylinders. There are several uniformly distributed arc-shaped yokes outside the induction copper ring to prevent magnetic leakage. With this method, the furnace shell does not need to be made of non-magnetic materials, and the outside of the furnace shell does not get hot. The tilting process using hydraulic tilting device is gentle and safe.

The cooling system of the smelting furnace mainly cools the power supply and the furnace body. The power supply part includes each power supply device in the power supply cabinet and a power electric heating capacitor group. The power supply part is composed of precision electrical components, and the cooling pipe is relatively thin. In order to prevent the pipe from fouling and blocking the pipe, demineralized water or pure water is generally used.
Electric furnace and power supply adopt independent cooling devices. The intermediate frequency power supply adopts a totally enclosed cooling device, and the furnace body adopts a totally enclosed cooling device.
The purpose of the smelting furnace using two independent sets of cooling devices is to avoid mutual influence. Because the intermediate frequency power supply requires low-temperature cooling water (pure water), the outlet water temperature must be controlled within 55°C, but the cooling water temperature of the induction coil of the electric furnace can be slightly higher, which can increase the thermal efficiency of the electric furnace and reduce the volume of the cooling device. , Thereby reducing the cost.
