The selection of induction heating equipment is also different for different workpiece heating options. You can see the following requirements:
1. The shape and size of the heated workpiece
For example, if the workpiece is large, bar material, and solid material, induction heating equipment with relatively high power and low frequency should be used.
For small workpieces, pipes, plates, gears, etc., use induction heating equipment with relatively low power and high frequency.
2. the depth and area of heating
The heating depth is deep, the area is large, and the overall heating should be made of induction heating equipment with high power and low frequency;
The heating depth is shallow, the area is small, and the local heating is used. The induction heating equipment with low relative power and high frequency is selected.
3. The heating speed of the workpiece
The required heating speed is fast, and induction heating equipment with relatively large power and relatively low frequency should be selected.
4. Process requirements
Generally speaking, quenching, welding and other processes can be relatively smaller in power and higher in frequency;
For tempering, annealing and other processes, the relative power should be larger and the frequency should be lower;
Red punching, hot forging, smelting, etc., if a process with good diathermy effect is required, the power should be selected larger and the frequency selected lower.
5. It depends on the material of the workpiece
Among the metal materials, the higher the melting point, the higher the power, the lower the melting point, the lower the power; the lower the resistivity, the higher the power, and the higher the resistivity, the lower the power.
