IGBT 120kw Gear High Frequency induction hardening quenching machine
1. Induction Quenching Hardening Machine Application:
1. It is suitable for quenching and tempering of various workpieces, such as induction hardening of shafts, gears, guide rails, discs, pins, etc.;
2. It has the functions of continuous quenching, simultaneous quenching, subsection continuous quenching, and subsection simultaneous quenching;
3. The CNC system or PLC and frequency conversion speed control system are used to realize workpiece positioning and scanning, and the PLC is connected with the induction power supply to realize fully automatic production.
4. Vertical (quenching of shaft parts) + horizontal (quenching of ring gear parts)
2. Simultaneous heating method
The simultaneous heating method is to heat and quench the surface to be hardened at one time. This method is suitable for small workpieces or workpieces with large size but small quenching area, such as crankshafts, gears, etc. In mass production, in order to give full play to the potential of the equipment and improve the productivity, the simultaneous heating and quenching method should be used as much as possible under the condition that the output power of the equipment is sufficient. Its characteristics are: when the frequency is constant, the heating temperature and depth depend on the unit surface power and heating time, the operation is easy to control, and the quality is stable. The cooling methods after heating include immediate spray cooling and immersion cooling.
3. Continuous heating method
The continuous heating method is to make the inductor move relative to the workpiece, and heat and quench the surface of the workpiece in turn. This method is suitable for situations where the quenching area is large and the equipment power cannot be guaranteed to be heated at the same time, such as the quenching of shafts, machine tool guides, and large-modulus gears. The productivity of this method is low, but it can reduce the total power required for workpiece heating and expand the scope of equipment application. When a single piece is produced in small batches, the continuous heating method is often used. If the power of the equipment is insufficient when heating by this method, the preheating continuous heating and quenching method can be used, that is, the use of the inductor to move in the reverse direction for preheating, and then immediately move forward for heating and quenching. The characteristic of this method is that the heating temperature is controlled by the moving speed of the workpiece under the condition that the electrical parameters and the size of the inductor are fixed.

5. What are the advantages of induction hardening?
Induction hardening boosts throughput. It is an extremely fast and repeatable process that integrates easily into production lines. It is clean, safe and typically has a small footprint. Workpieces are usually treated individually. This ensures that each separate workpiece is hardened to its own precise specifications. The optimized process parameters for each workpiece can be stored on your servers. Since only the part of the component to be hardened is heated, induction hardening is extremely energy-efficient.
