1. What is induction melting?
Induction melting is a process where metal is melted into liquid form in an induction furnace’s crucible. The molten metal is then poured from the crucible, usually into a cast. Medium frequency induction melting furnace is an induction heating machine. Alternating current in the coils melts the metals in the crucible and then heats the hot metal to the temperature needed. It is the heat treatment prior to forging, sintering and hot rolling in casting and melting industries.

4. Induction Melting Furnace Working Principle:
The working principle is that put the metal cylinder into the induction coil with alternating intermediate frequency current, the metal cylinder is not connected with induction coil directly, the temperature of energized coil itself is very low,but the surface of cylinder is heated to redness even melting,and the speed of redness and melting is achieved by adjusting the frequency and current strength.
