1. Induction hardening equipment has the following advantages:
①The heat is generated in the workpiece itself, so the energy consumption is small and the thermal efficiency is high;
②Fast heating and cooling, less deformation of the workpiece, less oxidation and decarburization, no need for mechanical processing after quenching, which can save processing costs;
③Easy to organize in the production line to achieve mass production;
④No waste gas, less pollution to the environment.
2.Composition of induction hardening equipment.
The power supply can be divided into power frequency, intermediate frequency or high frequency. Generally, it is selected according to the quenching depth requirements of the workpiece. The shallower the quenching layer, the higher the power frequency should be. The output terminal of the power supply is equipped with a quenching transformer with adjustable secondary voltage to reduce the voltage. To meet the low-voltage input requirements of the sensor.
Induction hardening equipment can be divided into two categories: general equipment and special equipment. The general equipment is equipped with many removable inductors, suitable for quenching a variety of workpieces, and is generally located in the heat treatment workshop of the factory. Special equipment is installed on the production line.
The theoretical calculation of induction hardening heating is very complicated. On-site operations often use ready-made diagrams-the relationship diagram or table of quenching depth, power frequency, input power per unit surface, and heating time, to select working parameters and supplemented with necessary test corrections.
