Overview
The Medium Frequency (MF) Thyristor Melting Furnace is a device that utilizes the principle of medium frequency induction heating for metal smelting. Its core component is the thyristor-based medium frequency power supply. This equipment boasts advantages such as high heating efficiency, rapid melting speed, precise temperature control, and ease of operation. It is widely used in industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, and foundries.
 
Working Principle

1. Medium Frequency Power Supply: Converts industrial frequency alternating current (AC) into medium frequency AC, ranging from several hundred to several thousand Hertz, through processes like rectification, filtering, and inversion.
2. Induction Coil: The medium frequency AC passes through the induction coil, generating an alternating magnetic field.
3. Metal Charge: The alternating magnetic field induces eddy currents within the metal charge, causing it to heat up and melt.
