Induction Melting Furnace
>
This Foundry Iron Steel Scrap induction melting furnace is a 70kw medium frequency IGBT machine engineered for small steel foundries, machine shops and scrap processors that melt cast iron, steel scrap and alloy charges for casting and ingot production. The LSZ-70 tilting version melts 25kg of steel or 100kg of copper and precious metals per cycle, giving foundries a flexible furnace that handles both ferrous and non ferrous work. Medium frequency induction produces a strong stirring action in the melt, which accelerates slag and inclusion removal and creates a homogeneous bath temperature before pouring. This reduces casting defects in iron and steel parts and improves metal recovery from contaminated scrap, making the furnace a profitable addition to jobbing foundries producing pump housings, gears and machine frames.

Typical users are jobbing iron foundries producing castings for pumps, valves, gears and agricultural machinery, plus scrap yards that upgrade shredded steel into higher value ingots. The tilting furnace is equally useful for melting copper and brass for electrical fittings and plumbing products, letting one foundry serve both ferrous and non ferrous customers. Small investment casting houses also use the LSZ-70 to melt stainless steel charges for lost wax shell pouring, where clean, inclusion free metal is critical.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceThe LSZ-70 is packed in a heavy duty wooden export case together with the IGBT power cabinet, tilting crucible assembly, graphite crucibles, cooling hoses, cables and manual documentation. Each furnace undergoes a complete load test at our factory, including a tilting and pouring trial, before it is released for shipment. A one-year warranty covers the power inverter and tilting mechanism, and our after sales engineers provide remote commissioning support and fast worldwide supply of crucibles, coils, capacitors and spare control boards.
